SOS Preschool values the inclusion and participation of all children. We have a strong history of providing mainstream education for children living with disability or delay. SOS is able to access funding through the Early Childhood Education Disability and Inclusion Program delivered by the NSW Department of Education. With this funding SOS employs additional staff, including two special education teachers who lead the team to ensure individualised programs are developed and implemented in conjunction with families and other service providers.
If you have any concerns regarding your child’s development, skills or behaviour, please speak to your child’s group teacher or the inclusion support coordinators. We can assist you with information, strategies or possible referrals to other community services. Parents and educators working together ensure that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
